Boomers don’t need to be reminded about how quickly our eyesight is deteriorating, but as the need to reach for the reading glasses (and eyeglasses in general) increases, we are. A study at MIT has found that certain typefaces are easier for us to read, and car companies are paying attention, hoping that by changing the various signs in cars to those typefaces, we will get our eyes back on the road a lot quicker.
