As promised in my post here, I recently ventured out again to take pictures of this more autumnal La fille Colette dress. It’s called the Victoria dress, and it’s sexy! And I think you’ll agree that it can look sexy on a woman of any age.
With boots or flats, during the day or evening, this dress can do it all for you. It’s body-hugging (as you can see, I have some curves to hug) but the overall effect is flattering. In fact, the color blocking makes the thin look curvier, and the curvy slimmer. And I think the opening on the shoulders really make the dress.
The dress was apparently so flattering that while I was sitting drinking my coffee, the young woman in the window took a picture of my back and sent it to her mother, who promptly replied saying she loved the dress!
This lovely woman then came out to tell me that she liked my style, my whole look. That’s a good day! That’s a good dress!
Many thanks to Colette Chretien, for allowing me to write about and model her dresses. Support the young creators and makers, here in this country, especially. Please take a look at La fille Colette.
