I love how a brand new tee can take a basic outfit up several notches. Each spring, I go through my tee and tank collection and part with the ones that have lost their shape, become stained or discolored, or no longer look polished. Tees and tanks are one of the foundations of my spring and summer wardrobe, and their importance can’t be overstated. They go with everything and when I find a style that flatters me, I buy it in multiples.
While classics such as a v-neck, round neck or sleeveless silhouette will always be relevant, each season there are a few new tee styles that are on-trend. This spring, the muscle tank looks fresh, either with or without shoulder pads. Cropped or semi-cropped tees are also in fashion at the moment. While most of my tees are in neutrals (I have multiples in black, white, and grey and reach for them most often) I also like to have a few in the hot colors of the season as well as a stripe or two. I will be adding pale blue, olive green and yellow this year. If you haven’t already, it might be time to revisit your tee collection and if you need to fill in some gaps, I have some great selections below.
