Who doesn’t love putting on a summer hat? Turns out BA50s feel pretty darn playful in theirs.

Whether it’s the weather and you need a rain hat, a sun hat to shade your skin or a broad brim hat to strut your stuff — hats are fun.

We asked BA50s to send us a selfie in a hat and here’s a few of the lovely pictures.

What are you wearing this summer?  Please send your selfie to editor@betterafter50.com so we continue to update our #showmeyoursummerhat inventory..

Our own BA50 Cofounder and Editor Ronna killing the Wide-brim…  Ronna YOU LOOK Marvelous!

This was my mom’s hat that I love but have never worn. Is it time?

Mindela looks smashing in her summer brim which she takes everywhere…

“It’s my favorite hat because it’s been smashed in suitcases and in tote bags and still does the job: covers my face from the sun”.

BA50’s Publisher Felice:  I love wearing my funky orange boating hat for gardening and chores. It’s kinda goofy but it makes me laugh.”

Look at that smile L.W. — we love your white hat — you’ve got coverage with style all in one!

Life gets sweeter after 50. You struggle less about your looks, and a messy hair day looks actually kind of good with a hat!

Lizzy says,

“This is my favorite baseball cap because it fits perfectly and its from Margie’s 50th” (We think that Lizzy is a Michigan Fan)

“The other  is my go to dog walking hat. So comfy and warm.”  Lizzy did you knit that?
