Clogs seem to always come around in the fashion cycle, and I am happy to say that they are high on the trend list for 2022. If you have fond memories of living in clogs in the 70’s and/or 90’s, you are in luck! Available in traditional shades of brown and black, this season clogs are also being offered in light colored neutrals like ivory, fun animal prints, and pastel colors too. Lots of styles have a modest heel, or you can opt for platform clogs for a bigger lift. Some clogs, like the ones shown below from J.Crew, have a convertible strap that can be worn over the back of the heel for additional stability. These are a great option if you are concerned about wearing an open back shoe or plan to do a fair amount of walking.

Until the weather warms up, pair your clogs with denim and a pair of rag socks for warmth. Clogs will also add a casual, hip vibe to a sweater dress and tights. Once the temperatures rise, wear your clogs with almost any outfit – sundresses, skirts, cropped pants, and even shorts. Most styles won’t require a pedicure either which is an added bonus! Read on for my curated selection of fashionable clogs to update all your outfits in 2022.
