Move over George Clooney, meet David Ravandi from 123 Organic Tequila.
You caught me day drinking here. It’s not my go to activity but I can see the allure. Before you judge me, yes we had a designated driver, and I only had 2 shots, but who does that at 3 in the afternoon? Well we did.
During the Food and Wine Festival on Martha’s Vinyard a few weeks ago, Bill and I went with our friends Cassie and Bill to one of our new favorite restaurants on Martha’s Vineyard, Dos Mas for Tequilas and Tacos. It was there we met Master Distiller David Ravandi. What a character he is… see for yourself. Loved David, not because I had just finished the tasting(s), but of course that certainly ramped us up, but because I learned so much about the health benefits of Organic Tequila. (In moderation of course).
Listen in to hear about why Tequila’s pure qualities actually leaving you feeling energized and not sleepy. Tequila has been the go to drink for awhile for many of my friends. Most people I know aren’t into shots but prefer it with a mixer. I love this Tequila with 3 limes and lots of ice. My dear friend (A….) turned a group of us onto it with crushed ice and Fresca. It’s very refreshing and one drink feels just right (for most of us) at cocktail time.
What’s your favorite Tequila cocktail? Please share it on this post so we can get some great ideas for our holiday parties.
Please know, Betterafter50 is not encouraging you to drink more. And remember (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems
123 Tequilas were really great, and didn’t need a mixer. (Blanco (Uno), Reposado (Dos), Anejo (Tres), Extra Anejo (Diablito), El Luchador Tequila, and Craneo Mezcal.
