The new science is out.  And I am just about as happy as the day new research okayed my daily cup(s) of coffee, and maybe equally as happy as the day new research revealed the good news about dark chocolate.  I am including this article in BA50 today in case your (former) best friend didn’t send it to you already.

Here’s the conclusion of the new research in this recent NY Times article:

“While heavy drinkers risked gaining weight, ‘light to moderate alcohol intake is not associated with weight gain or changes in waist circumference.'”  Honestly, that was all I needed to hear to feel good about my life which generally includes an alcoholic beverage, but you probably want a little more nuance…so feel free to read more here
