Dissent Over a Device To Help Find Melanoma

Some dermatologists are disagreeing over the use of a new device that assists others in determining whether a suspicious mole or lesion warrants a biopsy. For decades, the preliminary detection system for finding Melanoma was merely the dermatologists’ eyes  and a magnifier, and that still seems to be enough to some who fear the new device will serve too much as a crutch.
