Heads up BA50s —— Finally – Daisy Jones and the Six is OUR Series — Our Era —— Our Genre —— Our Music — Our Style — Our Vibe!
Daisy Jones with her look, her voice, her story, her music will take you back to the 70’s. You will know this music even though it’s original and you haven’t heard it before – (very Fleetwood Mac).
You may download the playlist on Spotify like I did and be transported and swear you have heard it before but it’s fresh and catchy and will get under your skin. Listen to Look at Us Now which becomes their big hit that launches them to the top of the charts.
This song is original for the show but Tell Me Tell Me Tell Me if you haven’t heard this before.
We watch Daisy come of age and find her voice as she reflects back from a more sober later stage and you can’t believe she is still alive to tell the story after watching episode upon episode.
The cast is incredible.
Riley Keough (Elvis Presley‘s granddaughter) stars as Daisy Jones, while The Hunger Games‘ Sam Claflin plays Billy Dunne. Their chemistry is powerful.
We watch the music industry at its best and worst, feel the exhilaration of being on the rock stars – what can go what can go right and what can go oh so wrong.
You will want to rewind, rerun and pause this series to savor it.
Daisy Jones and the Six premiered on Amazon Prime March 3, 2023. The back story about the actors who didn’t even know how to sing or play the guitar and had to learn everything is incredible.
We are transported by this heart-throbbing music full of soulful and gorgeous harmonies.
The entire time I was watching and ticking off episode after episode I was mourning it’s finish. I truly did not want to leave these characters.
I listened to the audible of this book by Taylor Jenkins Reid during Covid and was completely transported. If you loved the book – you won’t be disappointed by this series.
