A new study has found that men with big bellies last three times longer in bed than their skinnier counterparts. The research also showed that thin men are more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction.
Andrew Miller, CEO of YourTango, a premier media company dedicated exclusively to love and relationships, explains “More belly fat means the man in question is housing more of the female sex hormone estradiol, which helps to inhibit orgasm.” Hence, men can last longer in bed!
Other research has also shown that women find men with big bellies sexier and more desirable. British research found that 96 percent of women would be open to dating a man with a paunch, and 3 out of 4 women said that they find a little ‘fluff’ to be a turn-on.
“While a six-pack might seem like every woman’s dream come true, the truth is that women want to be with a man who makes them feel comfortable, loved and uninhibited,” says Miller. “A man with a perfect body might make women feel self-conscious about their own curves, plus it can be hard to date someone who is always at the gym or someone who refuses to eat anywhere that doesn’t cater to a raw, macrobiotic diet!”
Miller continues, “The bottom line is that authenticity and vulnerability are the top things that people are looking for in their partners. And, for many of us, that often means embracing our ‘flaws’ and no longer sucking it all in!”
