Wendy Reichental

Wendy Reichental graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Linguistics in the mid-80s (1984) and enjoyed the campus atmosphere so much - she never left. She has put her Dip. in Human Relations and Family Life Education (also from McGill 1986) to good use by utilizing her interpersonal skills at her administrative position which she has held for more years than she likes to admit at the School for Continuing Studies. She credits McGill for some of her happiness and for accepting her husband into the Chartered Accountancy program back in the 80s for that’s where she met him, while working at her administrative job. They have been married for almost 25 years, and are the proud auntie and uncle to wonderful nieces and nephews and not too long ago became great auntie and uncle to two precocious nephews with one more on the way! Wendy’s passion is in capturing life segments and sharing her stories of foibles, flaws, marriage, and grief. Her writings have appeared in The Montreal Suburban, The Montreal Gazette, various women blogs as well as Boomer café, boomercafe.com – a website devoted to baby boomers with a youthful and active lifestyle. She hopes to bring a little bit of laughter into everyone’s day or at least to crack a smile. “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” Mark Twain
