Susan Marks RN, PHN, BSN is a cannabis nurse and educator. She brings over thirty years of health care experience to working with medical patients who want to include cannabis therapeutics in their health management program. Susan had never used cannabis prior to seeking it as an alternative to taking anti-seizure medication for a neurological movement disorder she has. After successfully freeing herself of the intolerable side effects of pharmaceuticals she has passionately pursued her goal of providing education and direction to others wanting to use cannabis for their medical conditions. She is excited to be on the front line of bringing this new world of cannabis medicine to those looking for an option to traditional treatment. Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mount Saint Mary’s College and is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association. Susan has certifications in Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Public Health Nurse (PHN), Legal Nurse Consultant (LNCC) and Catastrophic Case Management Life Care Planning.
