Sondra is a graduate of Ithaca College and Columbia University with a Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She lives in Brookline Massachusetts with her husband. Presently, she is a GrubStreet (Boston’s center for literary life) board member and writer. Her publications include Jewish Magic Protected My Sister published in Lilith Magazine and The Switch, published in Voices of Caregiving. In recent years, she has chaired fundraisers in support of Massachusetts General Hospital and the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. She is a Life Member of Hadassah, a former overseer of the Boston Ballet and a past president of The Friends of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is currently at work on her first novel, TORN: A Novel of Marriage and Sisterhood.
