Lingo is the author of the blog, A Second Helping. As a retired middle-school teacher, a mother of two adult (so they think) daughters, and the wife of a thin man, she is abundantly qualified to write a humor blog. She is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, so her writing is sprinkled with references to goetta, chili, beer bellies, and Republicans.
