Robin Talbert grew up in Cliffside, a cotton mill town in the foothills of western North Carolina. Her poetry has been published in The Healing Muse and is forthcoming in the Anthology of Appalachian Writers. She is also a book reviewer for the Washington Independent Review of Books. A former attorney and nonprofit executive, she works as a consultant in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
