Michael Schwartz, MA, RPSGT, CCSH, is Founder of MicroSleep, LLC. Michael is a nationally Registered and Licensed Sleep Technologist (Polysomnography) and Certified Clinical Sleep Educator. Since 1987, Michael has tested and analyzed the sleep patterns of thousands of patients in clinical and research sleep labs, observing every sleep disorder under the sun (or under the moon in this case :)) Michael co-founded the School of Clinical Polysomnography, Inc. in 1996, and he became a University Professor of Sleep Health and Sleep Technology at the Oregon Institute of Technology in 2007. Michael is also currently the Insomnia Education Coordinator at a nationally accredited Sleep Disorders Center. Michael has been invited to make numerous media appearances about sleep and insomnia. With his special interest in helping people learn behaviors to improve sleep, Michael launched www.sleeponQ.com to give those who struggle with sleep an active way to work on their sleep. When he is awake, Michael loves spending time with his family, mountain biking, golfing and tuning up the old Buick. And yes, he is a very sound sleeper!
