Kimberly Montgomery

My last twenty years were spent in the suburbs of Northern California. I raised two daughters–mostly as a single mom and, while they were at school, I built an art and design business working out of a spare room. One day I looked up and realized no one lived in my house any longer but me. Even the cat was gone. Sensing opportunity, I packed up and moved to a little town on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. It’s gorgeous here and everything is different. And there are a lot of interesting people at the local Starbucks.
