A generally sarcastic person, I come from an incredibly small town where I'm revered as "a pillar of the community." Actually that's not true at all. Someone once used that phrase in an attempt to insult me and now my friends and family won't stop referring to me as said pillar. What is true is that I'm not so great at writing bios or sounding interesting. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart with two wildly active little boys. I volunteer and work part time. Distance running and writing are both passions of mine that I can't get enough of. I believe in hope. In bravery. In making a difference. And in doing things that scare you on a regular basis.
