Kathryn Rodgers is a research assistant at Silent Spring Institute with expertise in toxicology and risk assessment for public health. She is currently working on a comprehensive and critical review of primary epidemiological research articles to update Silent Spring Institute’s database of scientific research on environmental factors that may increase breast cancer risk. Additionally, she is working on Silent Spring’s Healthy Green Campus Project, to reduce exposures to toxic chemicals on college campuses by revising university-level sustainability efforts to include health and chemical exposures. She also supports the Institute’s water quality research, which is focused on reducing chemicals of emerging concern in drinking water.
