feliceIt’s been an amazing year together and we have a lot to be proud of. This year BA50 celebrated our 10th anniversary and we have seen a huge change in our growth as there is a strong buzz around what women over 50 think and care about. We are finally getting the attention we deserve. Women over 50 are no longer being ignored in media and we have a lot to say about that…that makes sense as there are 50 million women over 50 in the U.S.!
More and more women are energized by what’s next after 50. This year has been a big one for BA50s growth. Most notably, our social media team has spread the word about BA50. We have 115,000 Instagram followers and more and more subscribers and are always looking for more.
Our on-line magazine has new bloggers and I want to give a special shout out to my BA50 Blogging Group who joins me weekly to write and create fantastic posts for BA50.
New this year are live interviews with BA50 women who have launched businesses, are medical professionals and therapists.
The first week of January we are inviting all levels of writers to a 2 hour blogging workshop. I am co-hosting the workshop with Robin Finn on January 9th, please join us.

Next year you can look forward to more interviews and posts on topics that are unique to women who are on our journey.
Topics about empty nests, our ever changing bodies, trending issues around honoring and pruning friendships, our adult kids, dating, marriage…what we are shedding that no longer serves us as we age and embracing our next steps. Inspirational stories abound about how best to live our lives. Medical breakthroughs around menopause and our memories, love and loss and love again. As the natural pull of gravity and time ticks on, so do we, with purpose and humor and heart, standing tall and declaring how we will live the best years of our lives.
Wishing you all a safe holiday, some rest, plenty of laughs and fun and don’t forget to give yourself a big hug for all you do. We are Better After 50 because we choose to be!
