Never say I can’t wear that because of my age. Such is the line spoken by a chicly turbaned Beatrix Ost when speaking with Ari Seth Cohen, the photographer behind his new book, “Advanced Style.”  The book follows a stately parade of New Yorkers, ages 60 to 100, whose images he began posting on Advanced Style, his blog. He has been quoted saying they inspire him with their startling freedom and poise.  “They don’t have a job, they don’t have to impress their bosses, their children, their lovers. In dressing, “they have no one to please but themselves.”

As BA50s, we couldn’t agree more.
