Ghrelin is not a character on Game of Thrones, but a hormone that is known to stimulate appetite. Researchers have found that levels of ghrelin are lower after periods of intense exercise, so if you’re trying to lose weight, it’s better to amp it up on the treadmill than take a slow ride on the stationary bike.
